The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) requires support services for technology transfer efforts outside of the Joint Office of Technology Transfer. The requested support services include consultation on the structure of an Office of Research and Technology Applications at USU. Services required include assisting with establishing collaborative partnerships with industry, nonprofits and academia. Support services will facilitate the transfer of technology between our laboratory and non-Federal enterprises. Work will focus on assisting with coordinating, negotiating, and problem-solving collaborative partnerships that leverage federal and private-sector resources. This service will include receiving invention disclosures, assisting with patentability reviews during innovation assessment panels and publication reviews. This service will also include general administrative tasks as assigned, such as agreements routing and tracking. The services will not include efforts already managed by another nonprofit foundation. This involves assisting in the consultation on policy, strategy, plans, and guidelines. Successful execution will require performance with minimal contractor supervision.
