The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) has a requirement for two Gaumard high fidelity manikins or equivalent – one newborn simulator manikin and one pediatric (5 year old) simulator manikin. Each manikin must include a 3 year service plan that provides training, telephone and email support, and software updates. Each manikin must also come with two laptops (or tablets); one laptop for the wireless operation of the manikin and one laptop to display the vital signs of the manikin. The manikins will provide reliable training opportunities for the University’s Pediatric and Emergency Medicine departments as well as for the Graduate School of Nursing and the Bushmaster exercise.
