We provide the Nation with health professionals dedicated to career service in the Department of Defense and the United States Public Health Service and with scientists who serve the common good. Justification: In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) Schneider Electric, the manufacturer of the TAC I/A Series System and Network 8000 at USU has stated that Pritchett Controls is the exclusive factory representative for Schneider Electric Building Business for TAC I/A Series the Network 8000 products in the Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland including the eastern shore. As they are the only company authorized by the manufacture, no other vendor can meet the USU's requirement to be factory authorized. This is not a request for quotes and a solicitation package will not be issued. In accordance with 5.207(c)(16) (ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Sources interested in responding to this requirement must be able to provide compelling evidence that they can provide the abovementioned requirement as specified. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contractual action based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses must be received via email (jason.motala@usuhs.edu) by 3:00 p.m. ET on 23 April 2019. This service will be procured in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 12-Commercial Items, FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR subpart 13.5- Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items.
