This solicitation is for the next iteration of the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) to provide worldwide contingency sealift and intermodal transportation services for the Department of Defense. The Period of Performance for the Base Period is 1 October 2024 – 30 September 2029, with an option period from 1 October 2029 – 30 September 2034. The solicitation is open for enrollment from 27 June 2024 to 30 September 2034. Current participants will be contacted to update their vessel commitments and documentation, while new participants must enroll through the Maritime Administration (MARAD) website. Services are for contingency operations that may arise in any part of the world.
