SDDC requires Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at the designated seaports throughout the country of Belgium in connection with the import and export of Defense Transportation System (DTS) sponsored cargo. All tasks shall be completed per requirements stated through the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and in a manner consistent with the “Best Commercial Practices”. S&RTS services will cover the full spectrum of managing US Military cargo (e.g. containers, vehicles, breakbulk, and rotary or fixed wing aircraft) transitioning through designated seaport.

The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties that the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Acquisition (AQ) office anticipates issuing a solicitation for S&RTS at All Ports Belgium. The Government intends to offer a single, fixed rate schedule Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 5-year ordering period. 2.) The Government does not intent to award a contract on the basis of this presolicitation. This presolicitation is issued solely for informational purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. 3.)
