Requirements include Scheduled Maintenance (SM) and on-call Unscheduled Maintenance (USM) and Major Repairs. Scheduled maintenance has the following meanings: The care and servicing by personnel for the purpose of maintaining equipment and facilities in satisfactory operating condition by providing for systematic inspection, detection, and correction of incipient failures either before they occur or before they develop into major defects. Scheduled Maintenance includes inspections, tests, measurements, adjustments, repairs, and parts replacement, performed specifically to prevent faults from occurring. Unscheduled maintenance includes all actions to perform special inspections, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and restore the equipment to normal operating condition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is anticipated to be 811310 – Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance.
