The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties the USTRANSCOM Acquisition Directorate anticipates issuance of a solicitation for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) in Jacksonville, FL, primarily at the Port of Blount Island. Services include providing all technical support, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials in connection with the receipt, disposition, processing and loading/discharging of vessels at the seaports. The general scope of S&RTS services includes, Vessel Loading, Vessel Discharging, Receipt of Cargo, Disposition of Cargo, Stuffing/Unstuffing of Cargo and Management Services. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 488320. The Government anticipates issuing an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with base period of performance from 1 April 2020 through 31 March 2025. Award will be made on the basis of a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on FBO.gov on or about 1 Dec 2019. No hardcopies of this solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by USTRANSCOM/TCAQ-R. The solicitation shall be posted in its entirety at this website.
