USAMRAA is issuing this RFI as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the capability of providing the following brand name equipment or equivalent that meets the technical criteria (minimum essential characteristics) as described below. Kilobaser one-XT - Extended Edition Benchtop Synthesizer for standard and advanced oligonucleotides (modified Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and Ribonucleic acid (RNA)). Size: Synthesizer must be easily portable (~50 lbs. or less) and must not exceed dimensions of 15” x 15” x 15” due to limited benchtop space Performance: o Synthesizer must be capable of producing oligonucleotides in less than approximately four (4) hours o Synthesizer must be capable of producing DNA, DNA probes, modified DNA, and modified RNA o Synthesizer must have coupling efficiency comparable to or above industry average of approximately 99.5% Service: o Provide service remotely within 24 hours or replace device within one (1) week. One-year warranty included in purchase price.
