U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) has a requirement for a hematology analyzer to replace an instrument that is beyond its life expectancy. The system must be able to test animal blood and output whole blood and body fluid test results, such as CBC, RBS, WBS, PLT, etc. Specifically, USAMRICD requires an analyzer that can test the blood and fluids of multiple animal species, including mouse, rat, guinea pig, rabbit, ferret, pig, mini pig, goat, marmoset and non-human primates (NHP), with sub-species for mouse, rat, rabbit, pig and NHPs. Systems that meet the needs of USAMRICD are the Sysmex XN-1000V and XN-2000V Multispecies Hematology Analyzers. This amendment updates clause FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Products and Commercial Services.
