The contractor shall provide blood donor testing services. Specifically, testing blood donors for blood type, transfusion transmissible infections (TTI), and screening for blood group antibodies is a key component of the process of providing safe, pure, and potent blood products for NMRTC San Diego, in addition to the Department of Defense (DOD) in support of service men and women conducting operational missions around the world, military retirees, and dependent communities. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform donor testing the Blood Donor Center at NMRTC San Diego as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.
