NOTICE TO CONTRACTOR This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HT941025Q2034 It is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03 effective 1/17/2025 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change 1/17/2025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 562211. The size standard is 47 (millions of dollars). This is an unrestricted procurement, inviting full and open competition. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is for Non personal Services. Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Western Healthcare Operations Contracting Division requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following service: Requirement for Medical Waste Disposal and Transportation, 35 Medical Group at Misawa Air Base, Japan in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, personnel protective equipment (PPE), and any other items necessary to safely and properly perform Medical Waste Disposal and Transportation Services as outlined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall perform the Medical Waste Disposal and Transportation Service in accordance with applicable Japanese laws, and Chapter 17 of the Japan Environmental Governing Standards (JEGS). The contractor will be required to provide services for a base period, four (4) yearly option periods plus a six (6) month extension.
