Naval Medical Center San Diego is requesting a firm fixed price supply purchase for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive medications) Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) (Unit Dose AND Multi-Dose Vial), Sodium Fluoride (NaF) and Fluorine-18 (F-18) Calibration. The medication Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) is routinely used for various cancer diagnosis and progression as well as some cardiac and brain imaging. Sodium Fluoride (NaF) is used specifically for PET/CT Bone Scan Imaging. Fluorine-18 (F-18) Calibration is used for quality control of the PET/CT Imaging System (not for patient administration) at the Nuclear Medicine Division in Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD).
