This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HT9410-23-Q-0023. It is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01 and DFARS Change Notice 202200929. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Western Markets Contracting Division (WMCD) is issuing an RFQ on behalf of the Department of Defense and the Military Health System (MHS). The Government intends to solicit and contract for a single source, Brand Name or equal for Medtronic, Inc.; NIMVITAL NIM4CM01 intraoperative neuromonitoring device, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
