Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. is the OEM of Ortho Vision Immunohematology Analyzer and sole proprietor. Ortho does not authorize any third-party vendors to conduct PM or repair services on their equipment. Necessary specifications, manuals, and repair/overhaul procedures are proprietary and not available to other than Ortho. Only Ortho approved, and trained personnel are authorized to provide services on the analyzers. As Ortho is the sole proprietor of the instrument, the use of an unauthorized source for maintenance and repair or parts or products may cause malfunction or damage to the instrument or cause inaccurate testing results. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide the required services at USNHO. Capability statements shall not exceed six (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The proposed source is GETINGE USA SALES, LLC. GETINGE USA SALES, LLC is the only source that can provide original equipment manufacturer (OEM) preventative maintenance on Maquet Alphamaxx Beds. The objective of this sole source award for Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton Main Operating Room Department. The requirement is for preventative maintenance services of the 8 Maquet Alphamaxx Beds as well as yearly inspections to ensure dependable and reliable equipment operation. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE: Perform service repair/maintenance to industry standards. Ensure that only FULLY QUALIFIED FIELD ENGINEERS and TECHNICIANS who have gone through original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or comparable third party service schools for the above mentioned equipment, shall be employed in the performance of any and all work performed under this contract. Upon request, the contractor shall provide training certificates (or notarized copies) to the Biomed Repair Division for verification. The highest standard of professional capability and electrical/mechanical workmanship is to be maintained throughout the life of this contract.
