The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 with a corresponding size standard of $22.0M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small business to include, but not limited to, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Western Markets Contracting Division – San Diego, California, is seeking potential sources to provide preventive and corrective maintenance services for Government-owned Varian Linear Accelerator Radiotherapy Systems hardware and associated software. Varian Medical Equipment will require maintenance and repair service by the manufacturer or other Varian school-trained technicians to ensure the imaging systems meet the standard of Varian, DoD radiation regulations, and standards for patient care. This is in support of Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD). The purpose is to provide the best maintenance and repair services for this medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, specifications located at NMCSD, San Diego, California. Maintenance and repair services shall include, but not limited to, unlimited telephone support, regularly scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, corrective maintenance tasks, unlimited emergency responses, and remote support (as allowable, via any existing authorized Defense Information Systems Agency Business to Business Gateway). Coverage shall be included for all systems listed below, subsystem components, and assemblies, (i.e. contractor is responsible for total maintenance of entire system). The contractor must maintain the system such that it meets Navy and DHA Cybersecurity requirements. All maintenance provisions shall apply to hardware, firmware, and software, as appropriate, unless otherwise stated. The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, materials, travel, personnel, supervision and freight for the scheduled (preventive) and unscheduled (corrective) maintenance for all equipment identified in list below. Maintenance and support shall be provided for one (1) quarter period of performance for all equipment listed below. The Period of Performance includes a base period of one quarter initiating 22 May 2022 and ending 21 August 2022. Subsequent to the base period of coverage, seven (7) additional option periods shall be available without lapse. The ultimate completion will be 21 May 2024. List of Equipment(s): 1.
