(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and issued pursuant of FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. OFFERORS SHALL ACKNOWLEDGE ALL AMENDMENTS IN QUOTE. This acquisition is full and open competition. NOTICE TO OFFEROR(S): This action is subject to availability of funds IAW FAR 52.323-18 (II) Solicitation HT9408-24-Q-0100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02. (IV) This acquisition will utilize full and open competition. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 621991, Blood and Organ Banks; Product/Service Code is 6515, Medical Surgical Instruments Equipment Supplies; and Small Business size standard for this NAICS is $40,000,000.00. (VI) This solicitation is for the procurement of Ophthalmology Head Specimens. (VII) The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial in its latest edition applies to this solicitation, as amended below. A purchase order will be established with the Offeror whose quote represents the best value to the Government without discussions with respective Offerors. Specifications are stated in the CLIN descriptions above. The Government, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in the best interest of the government. (VIII) The Government requires delivery of the specimens by July 31st, 2024.
