The purpose of this post is to amend the solicitation and extend the due date for receipt of offers to 15 Sept 2022 (4pm CDT). See attached document, HT940822Q0014_ Amendment 0001, for changes. Any changes made to the solicitation are contained in the amendment document. // The purpose of this post is release the solicitation to industry. Please see attached solicitation, to include Addendums to FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors) and 52.212-2 (Evaluation of Offers), for information on submitting an offer. // The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, Southern Markets Contracting Division, San Antonio, Texas, intends to issue a solicitation for: medical training mannequins/simulation models, to include accessories, to support the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland, in order to expand their training program. The solicitation is being issued on a Brand Name or Equal basis. The brand name is Simulab: products on the solicitation include CentralLine Man System, FemoraLine Man System, Vascular Access Child System, and PICCLineMan System as well as accessories. Details on the salient characteristics will be included in the solicitation. The required delivery date will is no later than 45 days after award. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The Small Business Administration's size standard for this NAICS code is 1,000 employees. The solicitation number is HT9408-22-Q-0014. This solicitation will be available on/about 31 August 2022, will close on/about 15 September 2022, and will be posted on www.sam.gov. Prospective offerors are advised that if tentatively selected for award, they must register with the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) and obtain a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code prior to any award being made. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be physically issued, and telephone and faxed requests for the solicitation will not be honored.
