Notice: LIMITED SOURCES JUSTIFICATION The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Healthcare Contracting Division- Central (HCD-C) awarded a firm fixed price contract for Sysmex America Inc. to provide the maintenance of Sysmex hematology analyzers with all reagants, control and calaboration materials as required to perform full services at Evans Army Community Hospital. Sysmex America Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the Sysmex line of hematology analyzers as well as the reagents and supplies used by those systems in the United States. These items are proprietary to Sysmex America Inc. Sysmex service engineers and individuals trained under the Sysmex biomedical engineer training program are trained and specifically certified by Sysmex to service Sysmex equipment. There are no other authorized providers for the service of the Sysmex analyzers. The Government posted a Notice of Intent to Limited Sources by intention to make an award to Sysmex on SAM.gov on 8 July 2025 which closed on 19 July 2025. No questions nor responses were received. This research did not reveal any other company, besides Sysmex, that would meet this MTF’s needs. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
