SOLE SOURCE – GENEXPERT EQUIPMENT REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE This announcement constitutes a Notice of Proposed Contract Action. DHA Central Markets – Contracting Division (CM-CD) intends to award a contract for GeneXpert Equipment Repair and Maintenance. DHA CM-CD intends to conduct a sole source purchase to acquire all labor, software updates, parts, tools, materials, transportation, supervision, technical literature, and manufacturer repair requirements/manuals necessary to provide comprehensive preventative maintenance on Cepheid GeneXpert systems. This action is a new contract action and will result in a firm-fixed-price contract using Other than Full and Open Competition prescribed by FAR 13.501(a), Sole Source acquisitions. This action will result in the award of a commercial contract.
