The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Central Markets Contracting Division (CM-CD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Ambulance Services using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This requirement will be solicited as a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 621910 – Ambulance Services. The Product and Service Code (PSC) is V225 - Travel / Lodging/ Recruitment: Ambulance. The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, Colorado requires contractor support to provide non-personal, emergency patient transport services to include all labor, parts, tools, materials, and transportation necessary. Ambulance services shall be performed on-site which includes the USAFA Flight Line, Cadet Area, Community Center, Jack's Valley, Pine Valley housing area, Douglass Valley housing area, and the I-25 Corridor bordering the base. This emergency patient transport service shall consist of a minimum of three (3) dedicated ambulances. A 30-day phase-in period will start on 1 July 2023 with full services beginning on 1 Aug 2023. The phase-in time will allow the selected vendor to obtain all credentials necessary to begin performance. The base period of performance is 11-months, with two (2), 12-month option periods thereafter. A FAR 52.217-8 option to extend services for an additional six months is also included in the award. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments will be issued in electronic form. The solicitation will be posted to SAM.gov. The solicitation is expected to be available on or about 26 May 2023.
