The Defense Health Agency is seeking firms to provide organizational credentials equivalent to the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Pathway to Excellence Program for the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth (NMCP). This is a brand-name only requirement for recognizing healthcare facilities that foster positive work environments for nurses. The anticipated contract includes one 12-month base period and three 12-month option periods to maintain credentials. Based on industry responses, the government will decide whether to compete the requirement, set it aside for small businesses, or procure it as a sole source action.
