This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Defense Health Agency Southeastern Markets Contracting Division (DHA SEM-CD) intends to award a firm fixed price, sole source purchase order to Getinge USA located at 1 Geoffrey Way, Wayne, NJ 07470, United States to for quarterly maintenance of the Getinge 400/500 HCE Series Steam Sterilizer. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement of these supplies and services is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source, which states, “For purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.” This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all quotes received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. The solicitation number is HT940623QDentalEquip. This announcement is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The 45th Medical Group Dental Clinic has a requirement for a follow-on contract for a dental equipment maintenance contract for IC Getinge Dental Equipment. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, and replacement parts to utilize and maintain all equipment identified below for the duration of the contract. All tools, test equipment, parts, and supplies necessary to return the system(s) to original operating specifications will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Contractor will perform preventative maintenance services, scheduled and unscheduled in accordance with the PWS.
