Department of War Pharmacy Uniform Formulary Blanket Purchase Agreement / Uniform Formulary Additional Discount Program
The Department of War is required to maintain an integrated pharmacy benefits program for the Military Health System, including purchasing pharmaceutical agents and establishing a Uniform Formulary based on the P&T Committee’s review of clinical and cost effectiveness. Through the attached RFQ, industry quotes are sought for pharmaceutical agents in drug classes identified for potential Uniform Formulary placement, and the Defense Health Agency may award Uniform Formulary Blanket Purchase Agreements and Additional Discount Program Agreements based on the formulary decision. The P&T Committee will review specified newly approved drugs in November 2026, including products in oncology, antivirals, insulins, antibiotics, and other classes. A pre-quotation teleconference is scheduled for October 14, 2026, with details in the RFQ. Instructions and points of contact are provided in the RFQ.
