Department of War Pharmacy Uniform Formulary Blanket Purchase Agreement/Uniform Formulary Additional Discount Program
The Department of War requires an integrated pharmacy benefits program for the Military Health System, with its Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee evaluating the clinical and cost effectiveness of pharmaceutical agents for formulary classification and cost-sharing purposes. A Request for Quotation has been issued for drug classes under review, and the government may award Uniform Formulary Blanket Purchase Agreements and Additional Discount Program Agreements based on the committee's decisions. The November 2026 P&T Committee meeting will review six newly approved drugs spanning diuretics, contraceptives, lung cancer, atopy, migraine, and multiple myeloma. A pre-quotation teleconference is scheduled for September 9, 2026, with instructions and points of contact provided in the RFQ documentation.
