USFHP Designated Providers - Sole Source by Statute HT9402-23-R-0002 Title: Comprehensive Healthcare Delivery System Services (TRICARE Prime Benefit to eligible services beneficiaries) from Designated Providers This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: HT9402-23-R-0002 NAICS and Size Standard: 524114 and $47M Contract Period of Performance: One base period and nine, one-year option periods 1 October 2023 – 30 September 2033 Description of Services: The Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency (DHA), has a requirement to provide comprehensive health care delivery plan services (the TRICARE Prime benefit) through a Managed Health Care Plan to eligible uniformed service beneficiaries. In accordance with FAR 6.302-5 Authorized or Required by Statute. Specifically, Title 10 U.S.C. § 1073, Sections 722 (b & f); 724 (e); 726 (a-d) and the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) mandates sole-source commercial-item contracts be negotiated with the six Designated Providers for services in their surrounding geographical areas. (1) Brighton Marine Health Center, Inc.-Boston MA, (2) CHRISTUS Health System-Houston TX (3) Johns Hopkins Medical Services Corp-Glen Burnie, MD (4) Martin's Point Health Care Center, Inc.-Portland ME, (5) Pacific Medical Center; Seattle WA (6) Saint Vincents Catholic Medical Center of NY-New York NY 52.212-1: Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. 52.212-1 Addenda Offerors are to submit a signed and dated offer to the contracting officer by 22 May 1500/3PM CT Period for acceptance of offers : All offers shall be acceptable through 25 Sep 2023 Electronic submissions are acceptable.
