This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: HT9402-23-R-0002 NAICS and Size Standard: 524114 and $47M Contract Period of Performance: One base period and nine, one-year option periods 1 October 2023 – 30 September 2033 Description of Services: The Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency (DHA), has a requirement to provide comprehensive health care delivery plan services (the TRICARE Prime benefit) through a Managed Health Care Plan to eligible uniformed service beneficiaries. In accordance with FAR 6.302-5 Authorized or Required by Statute. Specifically, Title 10 U.S.C. § 1073, Sections 722 (b & f); 724 (e); 726 (a-d) and the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) mandates sole-source commercial-item contracts be negotiated with the six Designated Providers for services in their surrounding geographical areas.
