Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Northeastern Market – Contracting Division (NM-CD) Subj: Source Sought Announcement This is a sources sought/synopsis announcement issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) National Capital Region (NCR) as part of its market research, on behalf of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Clinic (WRNMMC), 8901 Wisconsin Avenue Building 54 Bethesda, MD 20889, in accordance with FAR Part 13.303, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) and FAR 16.7, Agreements. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, for commercial items / services for the procurement of tissue staining chemical analyzers, (Bench Mark Ultra, Bench Mark Ultra Plus, Ventana HE 600), along with its reagents, and any necessary services for proper operations. Currently, Roche Diagnostics Corporation, 9115 Hague RD Indianapolis, Indiana 46256-1025, is the products/item or service manufacturer and authorized distributor. The NAICS code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000. Federal Supply Class or Product Service Codes such as: 6505, 6550, and 6640 are just a few classes of supplies, others not listed. This source sought announcement is a request for information ONLY to be used for preliminary market research information and planning purposes only.
