Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) National Capital Region – Contracting Division (NCR-CD) Subject: Source Sought Announcement This is a sources sought/synopsis announcement issued by the Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) National Capital Region (NCR) as part of its market research, on behalf of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), 8901 Wisconsin Avenue Building 54 Bethesda, MD 20889, in accordance with FAR Part 13.303, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) and FAR 16.7, Agreements. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, five year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for commercial items / services for the procurement of Special Dietary Foods, Patient Nutrition Supplements, and all associated items from vendor’s commercial catalog/pricelist as needed. Currently, Abbott Laboratories, 3300 Stelzer Rd, Columbus, Ohio. 43219- 3034 is the products/item or service manufacturer and authorized distributor for the attached item list (not all items inclusive). The estimated five year total of this BPA is $2,000,000.00. The NAICS code is 311999, All Other Miscellaneous Food Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500. Federal Supply Class or Product Service Codes such as: 8940, 6515, Q999 are just a few classes of supplies, others not listed. This sources sought announcement is a request for information ONLY to be used for preliminary market research information and planning purposes only.
