Service RFI: The contractor shall provide qualified emergency medical services to be dispatched and be present in the operating room to perform emergency dispatch and communications at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) located in Bethesda, MD. In support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), the contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform medical emergency dispatch support services, except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The services shall be performed at the Medical Center Emergency Dispatch and Communications Center, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. All contractor employees shall meet the qualifications for their specialty and perform their roles and functions as stated in the PWS. The contractor must be located within 65 miles of WRNMMC due to the on-call nature of the work. Services RFI: This is a sources sought/synopsis announcement issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) National Capital Region (NCR) as part of its market research, on behalf of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) at 8901 Wisconsin Avenue; Bethesda, MD 20889.The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract for commercial items / services for the procurement of emergency dispatch services and all associated items from vendor’s commercial catalog/pricelist as needed. The NAICS code is 624230, Emergency and Other Relief Services, with a size standard of $35.0M. Federal Supply Class or Product Service Codes such as R249, V225, V301, V119, and Q999 are just a few classes of supplies/services, others not listed. This sources sought announcement is a request for information ONLY to be used for preliminary market research information and planning purposes only. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no Request for Quote or Solicitation available for competitive proposals at the present time. Phone calls will not be accepted. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider responses to this notice within fifteen (15) days of this posting. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Services RFI: This is a request for information (RFI) to help the Government to better define its requirement and identify potential sources that could fulfill the Government’s requirement. 1. Purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) This RFI is being issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA), National Capital Region (NCR-CD) to conduct Market Research on Industry's Capabilities in providing the DHA with a 12 months Services contract for medical emergency dispatch services located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD 20889. 2. Scope: a. The Government is interested in finding a contractor that can provide the services on the Statement of Work attached. 3. How to Respond This is an RFI ONLY; it is not a request for competitive proposals. It is issued solely for Information and Planning Purposes - It does not constitute a Solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate Acquisition Approach. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Should your firm desire to submit a capability statement, it should demonstrate the Offeror's experience and expertise to provide the services identified in the SOW within the time frame required and without substantial duplication of cost to the Government. The statement shall include business size; ability to perform the work and any other information indicating a legitimate ability to meet these specific requirements. Responses should not exceed 10 pages (including responses to questions and capabilities statement) in length. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future Request for Proposal (RFP), if any is issued. The formal closing date for this RFI and submission of Responses is Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM EST.
