Defense Health Agency (DHA) Component Acquisition Executive (J-4) National Capital Region – Contracting Division (NCR-CD) Subj: Source Sought Announcement This is a sources sought/synopsis announcement issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) National Capital Region (NCR) as part of its market research, on behalf of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), 8901 Wisconsin Avenue Building 54 Bethesda, MD 20889.The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract for commercial items / services for the procurement of Equipment Lease, Maintenance Services and Cartridges and all associated items from vendor’s commercial catalog/pricelist as needed. Currently, Abbott Laboratories Inc, 200 Abbott Park Rd. Abbott Park, IL, 60064-3503, is the products/item or service manufacturer and authorized distributor for the attached item list (not all items inclusive). The NAICS code is 334510, Electro medical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing with a size standard of 1250. Federal Supply Class or Product Service Codes such as: Q301, 6550, J065, J070 and W066 are just a few classes of supplies/services, others not listed. This sources sought announcement is a request for information ONLY to be used for preliminary market research information and planning purposes only. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no Request for Quote or Solicitation available for competitive proposals at the present time. Phone calls will not be accepted.
