This is a sources sought/synopsis announcement issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) National Capital Region (NCR) as part of its market research, on behalf of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Clinic (WRNMMC), 8901 Wisconsin Avenue Building 54 Bethesda, MD 20889, in accordance with FAR Part 13.303, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) and FAR 16.7, Agreements. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, for commercial items / services for the procurement of medical supplies, disease diagnostic kits, reagents, and all associated items from vendor’s commercial catalog/pricelist as needed. Currently, BECTON, DICKINSON AND COMPANY, 7 Loveton CIR Sparks Glencoe, Maryland 21152, is the products/item or service manufacturer and authorized distributor. The NAICS code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000. Federal Supply Class or Product Service Codes such as: 6505, 6515, 6525, and 6530 are just a few classes of supplies, others not listed. This source sought announcement is a request for information ONLY to be used for preliminary market research information and planning purposes only.
