This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action. DCSA intends to solicit and award a purchase order, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5, simplified procedures for certain commercial items, to Golf Carts Unlimited, LLC located in Slippery Rock, PA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The intent of this notice is to provide the presolicitation information required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. DCSA anticipates an award of a purchase order for 2025 Cushman Shuttle 8 Elite Lithium and 2025 Cushman Shuttle 2+2 Elite Lithium golf carts. This small business is located within a 50-mile radius of Boyers, PA and has the clearance to enter and exit the Iron Mountain, Boyers facility. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations, proposals, or bids. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that a competition would be advantageous to the government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
