This is a notice of intent to award a sole source firm-fixed-price purchase order to Microsoft Corporation, UEID FMVPEWNJGLM1, Cage 60128, 1 Microsoft Way, Redmond, Washington, 98052-8300, for a 12 months period of performance. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is prescribed by FAR 13.501(a). Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has a requirement for the renewal of Microsoft (MS) Unified Support services which will be distributed to DCSA users at headquarters and field locations. MS Unified Support provides fully integrated and comprehensive MS support for all MS licenses/equipment supporting the DCSA networks and its mission, which includes “blue-badge” technical support service with direct access rights to developers of Microsoft proprietary products. This requirement is for reliable automated information systems services and support to DCSA, as, Unified Support Services and Designated Support Engineering in Platform Technologies, Systems Management Technologies, Messaging technologies and Problem Resolution. MS Unified Support is a support service that minimizes and quickly resolves issues and provides DCSA access to Microsoft experts to keep applications and systems running smoothly. MS products are essential parts of the DCSA IT environment. No solicitation posting will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation; however, all responsible sources interested may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings or telephone requests will be honored. The Government will consider responses received by 3:00 PM ET on 09/12/2024. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to Mrs. Sherrita Muse, sherrita.d.muse.civ@mail.mil, and Mr. Steven Chang, tzeleong.s.chang.civ@mail.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Each response should include the following business information: a. Contractor Name, Address; b. Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, and Email address; c. Contractor UEID; d. Contractor Business Classification (i.e., small business, 8(a), woman owned, HUBZone, veteran owned, etc.) as validated in System for Award Management (SAM).
