This Sources Sought/Notice of Intent is being posted to satisfy the requirement under the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement PGI 206.302-1(d). The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with GovCIO 1-13 Christopher Way Suite 102, Eastontown, NJ 07724. This for the procurement is for Tier 2 Help Desk support for National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). Under the authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to issue a sole source contract to GovCIO. Market research was conducted through Internet searches, review of past performance history, and verbal and written Request for Information (RFI) from three companies in order to identify potential sources capable of meeting the urgent requirement for Help Desk Support Services. Due to the ongoing need of this support, DCSA plans to extend the current contract order. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received within fifteen calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by DCSA. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the e-mail address shown below. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
