Amendment to add the following attachments: Questions and Answers Proporesrs day slides DARPA TTO is soliciting proposals to design, build, certify and fly an X-Plane to demonstrate enabling technologies and integrated concepts necessary for a transformational combination of aircraft speed and runway independence for the next generation of air mobility platforms. This BAA requires the description of an Operational System (OS) and the description of a scaled X-Plane demonstrator to validate the enabling technologies at a relevant size and in a flight environment. The goal of SPRINT is to reach first flight of the demonstrator no more than 42 months from contract award. This BAA seeks full proposals for Phase 1 (Phase 1A Base and Phase 1B Option). Phase 1A focuses on conceptual design and requirements/interface definition and includes a Conceptual Design Review. Phase 1B continues maturation of selected X-Plane design(s) through more sophisticated analyses, simulations, risk reduction testing, manufacturing/flight test planning.
