The goal of the DARPA Tellus program is to develop the Methodology to program microbial sense-and-respond devices to reliably detect a variety of chemical and physical stimuli, process this information and generate measurable output signals in DoD-relevant environments. Tellus will assess the feasibility of utilizing microbial devices for environmental monitoring.
