The Army is seeking mature commercial technologies for a Sizing Technology Pilot that can automatically capture body and foot measurements via non-contact methods and convert them into recommended standard Army uniform and footwear sizes. The current manual tape-measure process at accession points creates logistical bottlenecks, high uniform/boot return rates, and no way to track Soldiers’ sizing changes over time. The Call for Solutions aims to identify and evaluate such technologies, with full problem statement, required/desired attributes, submission requirements, and evaluation phases/criteria provided in Attachment 1.
