Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. The information gathered for market research will be vital in the formulation and set-aside status of the solicitation. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) has requirement for a Micro Focus ACUCOBOL Enterprise License Renewal and Software Maintenance Support for HP Oracle Support HP Itanium supplier who is also capable of providing supplies compatible with the HP Oracle Support HP Itanium software products, that is currently in place. The objectives of market research include verifying commerciality of item/service; identifying industry specific terms and conditions; identifying sources with an emphasis on creating competition and promoting small businesses; establishing reasonable cost estimates; and developing an effective contract structure.
