This announcement constitutes the solicitation only; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is to notify contractors that the government intends to issue a Delivery Order in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13 under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Request for Quote number is HQC007-20-Q-0021. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07, effective 2 Jul 2020 are incorporated into this request. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is a component of the Department of Defense reporting to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness. DeCA operates a worldwide commissary system that provides quality grocery products at substantial savings to active duty military personnel and retirees, members of the Reserve and National Guard, and their families. DeCA’s Information Technology Directorate, has a requirement for a Hazardous Food & Drug Recall Notification Solution.
