There is no solicitation at this time. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is seeking interested firms that can provide American Sign Language Interpreter Services. The Statement of Work (SOW) for this requirement is attached to this Request for Information (RFI). This RFI is for market research purposes only. The anticipated period of performance is July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 with four (4) option years. Quoter’s must be registered is the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541930. Services are expected to be performed primarily at the DeCA Headquarters building located at 1300 E Avenue, Fort Lee, Virginia, 23801 as well as other locations on the Fort Lee base for Director’s Calls, Organizational Picnics and/or Holiday Parties. Background: DeCA is a component of the Department of Defense (DoD) reporting to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness. DeCA operates a worldwide commissary system that provides quality grocery products at substantial savings to active duty military personnel and retirees, members of the Reserve and National Guard, and their families. DeCA’s mission is to deliver a vital benefit of the military pay system that sells grocery items at significant savings while enhancing quality of life and readiness. DeCA headquarters is located at 1300 E Avenue, Fort Lee, Virginia 23801. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary. Responders are encouraged to refrain from submitting proprietary information, but if inclusion of such information is essential to explain answers to queries, it should be marked accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to the RFI. DeCA will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ, make award(s), and/or be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this RFI.
