The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to issue a solicitation to procure Specialized Engineering Analyses services to support MDA with the integrated, layered Missile Defense System (MDS) and help advance concepts for future MDS inclusion. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition will be 541715 (Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences) and the Small Business Size Standard will be 1,250 employees. It is anticipated that the award will result in a single, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract for a base period of three (3) years, two (2) two-year options, and one (1) six-month option to extend. This requirement will use best value trade off procedures in determining the successful offer. The places of performance primarily include: Fort Belvoir, VA; Huntsville, AL; Schriever Air Force Base, CO; Kirtland Air Force Base, NM; and Tel Aviv, Israel. 3.
