Missile Defense Deployment and Sustainment Operations (formerly Mission Support Logistics Operations) DRAFT RFQ Release 2.0 After careful consideration of industry feedback in response to previous Requests for Information (RFI), Industry Day, and the draft Request for Quote (RFQ) release (posted under HQ0858-21-R-MSLO), the MDA has decided to release a second draft for the following reasons: - Requirement Name Change (better aligns with the scope of work) - Performance Work Statement (PWS) Update (attached) - Provide the latest draft of the RFQ with ALL attachments (attached) - Provide another opportunity for industry feedback - Provide industry with additional preparation time before final RFQ release - Provide clarification on the NAICS code designation (see the attached PowerPoint chart which describes how the scope of work has evolved/grown in complexity over the past 5 years and clarifies why the NAICS code has changed from 541614 to 541330) Attached document titled "HQ0858-21-R-MDDSO combined QAs" which includes all submitted questions with Government response to reccomendations. As of October 28th 2021, Anticipate the release of the final RFQ on GSA eBuy within two weeks with receipt of proposals TBD upon release of final RFQ on GSA eBuy. The intent is to incorporate feedback/suggestions into the final RFQ. Questions and answers will not be posted unless determined necessary by the Contracting Officer. Although the requirement name has changed, we will still utilize the MDAMSLO@mda.mil email address. Please submit all responses (including interest in quoting) to this email address no later than 2:00PM CT on October 15, 2021. No telephone calls please. This is not a request for proposal/quote, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not assume liability of any costs incurred as a result of responding to this DRAFT solicitation.
