The need is to procure a precision circuit board milling machine for onsite, rapid, cost-effective prototyping of low-quantity and one-off circuit boards. It will support testing of amplifiers, regulators, filters, and creation of test boards for load pull characterization. This capability is also required to begin embedded antenna design research and development. The acquisition will enhance support for the organization's Quick Reaction Engineering projects.
