Current services performed support the efforts of DoD components in remediating FY23 and any new FY24 audit findings across the Other Defense Organizations (ODOs). The Department’s overall goal is eliminating material weaknesses to achieve a clean audit opinion across all of DoD. As part of their tasking, the contractor reviews corrective action plans (CAPs) in response to audit findings and provides recommendations to ensure CAPs will have the intended effect and documenting standard operating procedures and process control narratives, and also reviews, categorizes, and reports audit findings and corrective actions to leadership, which is critical for the leadership audit oversight function.
