DFAS Video Teleconference (VTC)- The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase the equipment to upgrade the DFAS SES conference room with devices that will work with Microsoft Teams. This equipment will be used to connection to the DFAS ELAN to use the audio and visual capabilities to conduct video teleconferencing session via Microsoft Teams. The Logitech devices provide a microphone, high definition camera as well as a speaker which allows for easy use with Microsoft Teams. The items requested in this requirement are for brand name specific Logitech video teleconference equipment. Logitech is the only manufacture that can provide Trade Agreements Act (TAA) complaint hardware that meets the strict security requirements of the Department of Defense. Below are the security vulnerabilities that need to be meet in order to use the equipment of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Enterprise Local Area Network (ELAN) that only the Logitech equipment can meet. • CVE-2022-31459 – Passcode-Hash Can Be Retrieved via Bluetooth • CVE-2022-31460 – Tethering Mode with Hardcoded Credentials • CVE-2022-31461 – Deactivation of Passcode Without Authentication • CVE-2022-31462 – Hardcoded Backdoor Passcode • CVE-2022-31463 – Passcode Is Not Required for Bluetooth Commands Additionally, the Logitech equipment is the only equipment that meets the STIG requirements, DoD Policy and the DFAS policy for wireless (Bluetooth and WiFi).
