This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) for the purchase of obtaining Communication Access Real-time Translation Services (hereinafter referred to as CART) for the deaf and hard of hearing employees on an as needed basis at Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in Cleveland, Ohio in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Under FAR Part 13.5 the Government intends to award a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract for a base and four option-year periods. NAICS code for this accouncement is 561492. NOTE: Due to the need to coordinate requirements with limited notice and utilizing local captionists, only service providers with scheduling staff located within the local commuting area of Cleveland, Ohio will be considered for award.
