The Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Columbus, Ohio (DFAS-CO) expects to have a requirement for Canine Bedbug Inspection Service at 3990 E. Broad St., Bldg. 21, Columbus, OH 43213. Responding: If you are interested in this expected requirement please provide the following via email to Cecilia McLaughlin, cecilia.m.mclaughlin.civ@mail.mil, by 11:00 a.m. Eastern on April 1, 2024: 1) Company name and CAGE code 2) Company address 3) Name, email, telephone number of contact person. 4) Company size. =========================================== GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Canine Bedbug Team shall determine any bedbug infestations for live bedbugs and viable bedbug eggs through use of canine scent detection to pinpoint the locations of bedbug activity. The canines shall be NESCDA approved/certified Scent detection 600,000 square foot building Detect live adult bedbugs, viable bedbug eggs and bedbug infestation Services to be performed during non-operational hours The Government will be notified of any positive detections Any positive bedbug detections detections will be remedied and treated accordingly by the contractor. Positive detections work with pest control for treatment. Any detections shall be discreet/records confidential Inspection performed on a quarterly basis—every three months Inspect area: office-to-office, cubicle-to-cubicle, government property, seating, conference rooms, and storage rooms any place where employees sit or gather. =============================== This is a request for information only to gauge market interest.
