The Office of the Undersecretary of Defense (Acquisition & Sustainment) (OUSD(A&S)) in the Department of Defense is seeking information, from organizations, related to establishment of an Accreditation Body for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program. The CMMC program will serve as a verification mechanism to ensure appropriate levels of cybersecurity controls and processes are adequate and in place to protect controlled unclassified information (CUI) that resides on the Department's industry partners' networks. The Accreditation Body kickoff meeting will be held on November 19, 2019, from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the NRECA Conference Center, 4301 Wilson Blvd, Plaza level, Arlington, Virginia, 22203, and will be hosted by Professional Services Council.
