Background The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate (AD) is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors supporting The Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Inspector General (OIG). This is a Request for Information (RFI) released, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 – Market Research. The RFI’s purpose is to obtain market information on viable sources of supply. There is no solicitation available currently. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government and any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Please note that by responding to the instant Agency request, a potential offeror is not promised any future business with the Government. The sole purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to assist the Agency in crafting an appropriate solicitation in the future. Intended Use/Purpose The agency anticipates issuing a solicitation and ultimately entering into a Firm-Fixed (FFP) price contract to purchase Glock 9mm Arms and Accessories. These will support the Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS) in its investigative and law enforcement duties and activities. Salient Characteristics GLOCK 19, Gen 5, 9mm Pistol with Modular Optic System (MOS) GLOCK 19, Gen 5, 9mm Pistol FS MOS7 AMGLO SUPP SIGHT 5.5lb LE specifically for Aimpoint ACRO P-2 Aimpoint Acro P-2 (MOS) GLOCK 19, Gen 5, 9mm Pistol FS MOS7 Standard Height Front & Rear Sights; 39751 -Front Sight (Tritium GREEN) GLOCK 19, Gen 5, 9mm Pistol FS MOS7 Standard Height Front & Rear Sights; 39744 - Rear Sight (Non-Tritium) Information Requested In responding to this notice, respondents should provide the following information: 1. A detailed description of your capability to deliver firearms, front and rear scopes, and associated components for the GLOCK 19 Gen5 9mm Pistol. Details should include technical descriptions of the firearm and included accessories. 2. Are you under NAICS code 332994 – Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing? If not, what NAICS code do you use? 3. What size business are you registered? (Please identify as either Large, Foreign, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Small Business). 4. All interested sources shall also provide the organization name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, taxpayer identification number, Unique Entity ID (UEI) number, and CAGE Code. Delivery Schedule: 30 Days After Receipt of Order (ARO) All responsible sources believing they can provide Glock 9mm Arms and Accessories are encouraged to submit a capability statement displaying their company's unique competences.
