The Response due date has not been revi... 6.22.23 The Combined Synopsis and Solicitation has been amended to provide the Government responses to Vendors questions. Please see the attached Amendment 001. The Response due date has not been revised. This requirement is for the research, writing, revision, and preparation for publication of Volume XV in the Secretaries of Defense Historical Series, which will cover the period 2001 through 2005. The Contractor shall perform research in published literature and unclassified and classified primary source material, including records of the Office of the Secretary of Defense and other DoD elements, material from Presidential libraries and various U.S. Government agencies, and manuscript and archival material from private repositories. The contractor will also edit and revise manuscript chapters of other volumes in the Secretaries of Defense Historical Series. The Contractor shall conduct oral history interviews as necessary, prepare draft chapters, preface, and bibliography based on this research?including endnotes and applicable tables, charts, photographs and captions?and review and incorporate as necessary editorial comments on previously drafted chapters.
