This is a sole source justification and approval under simplified procedures for certain commercial items under FAR 13.5 for use of proceduers other than competitive procedures. The Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate awarded a 10-month firm-fixed-price level-of-effort term contract on a sole source basis to provide professional analytical and administrative support services for the Defense Science Board (DSB) and the DSB Office while a re-compete is being conducted. The services are currently available from only one responsible sources and no other type of services will satisfy the needs of the agency. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotes. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
